沿革
Feb. 1986 Established as Nihon Ugimag Corp, joint venture between Kawasaki Steel Corp. and Aimants Ugimag S.A.(France) with the capitalization of 200 million yen.
Dec. 1986 Start of hard ferrite production at Chiba prefecture in Japan.
Sep. 1988 Terminated joint venture agreement and 100% owned by Kawasaki steel group.
Jul. 1989 Company name changed to Kawatetsu Magnex Corp.
Oct. 1990 Start of soft ferrite core production at Kurashiki factory, located in the area of Kawasaki Steel Mizushima work. (Capacity; 70ton/month)
Oct. 1991 Capacity increased to 150ton/month. (by new sintering furnace No.3)
Jul. 1993 Withdrew from hard ferrite core business.
Sep. 1993 Established Kawatetsu Ferrite Corp. ('KFC')with the capitalization of 100 million yen.
Dec. 1993 Transferred soft ferrite core business from Kawatetsu Magnex Corp. to KFC. Capital increased to 300 million yen.
Apr. 1994 Capacity increased to 220 ton/month. (by new sintering furnace No.4)
May. 1994 Capital increased to 490 million yen.
Jan. 1996 Capacity increased to 255 ton/month. (by equipment improvements)
Aug. 1996 Established Kawatetsu Ferrite(Hong Kong) Limited.("KFH"; Sales and Marketing company)
Oct. 1996 Established Kawatetsu Ferrite (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. ("KFT")
Mar. 1997 KFC certified ISO9001
Dec. 1997 Start of production at KFT.
Oct. 1999 KFC merged with Saikai Industry Co. KFC increased capital to 1,224 million yen.
Oct. 2000 KFC increased capital to 1,300 million yen.
Apr. 2002 Start of grinding process at Shenzhen factory (China).
Apr. 2003 KFC merged with Irox-NKK Co., Ltd. (Established JFE Ferrite Corp.; "JFC")
May. 2004 Start of production at JFE Jiangmen Ferrite Co.,Ltd.("JJF" ;Joint venture with JPMF Guangdong Co.,Ltd.)
Closed Shenzhen Factory.
Oct. 2005 Reorganization of Ferrite group company under Parent company, JFE Chemical Corp.
Feb 2011 Start of material production at J Ferrite Powder(Thailand) Co.,Ltd. ("JFP"; 100% subsidiary company of JFT)
Mar 2011 Start of new sintering furnace at JJF.
